Profile Summary

Stephanie Watts is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Boston University School of Management. She also teaches in BU's Kilachand Honors College. She was previously on the faculty of the Weatherhead School at Case Western Reserve University. Her research focuses on the role that information technology plays in knowledge transfer, with a focus on cognition and credibility perception. She also researches information transparency and mobile technologies for enabling ethical consumption. She has published academic papers in such journals as Information Systems Research, Organization Science, Information and Management, and Journal of Computer Mediated Communication.
